Investors in People is delighted to award We invest in people, standard accreditation to Salford-based social enterprise Unlimited Potential, which specialises in social and economic innovation.
It means principles and practices around supporting people are in place and everyone understands how to use them to make work better!
Unlimited Potential is a community benefit society that works with local people and communities on social and economic issues that are considered the most challenging. At present these include: homelessness; low-quality work; wealth inequality; child poverty; employment of autistic people; violence against women and girls; and loneliness.
“This is an organisation that lives and breathes its core values”, says the Investors in People report. “The very enterprising nature of the organisation … ensures that Unlimited Potential and its people are forever exploring creative and innovative responses to challenges within the communities it serves.”
One colleague said “I feel valued, and I get a real sense of purpose here.”
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Unlimited Potential. Being accredited with We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Unlimited Potential in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
Commenting on the award, Chris Dabbs, Chief Executive, said “Unlimited Potential aims that our people end up with a life which is much more like the life that they want to have – that’s a fulfilment of our mission. It is gratifying to have such positive feedback from all of our colleagues”
We believe that the success of your organisation begins and ends with people. If we make work better for everyone, we make work better for every organisation. And if we do that… we make society stronger, healthier and happier.
