My background before joining Unlimited Potential

Before joining Unlimited Potential, I worked mostly in the care sector, supporting people with dementia and older people in community settings. I also held office roles, handling data entry. Although these experiences shaped my approach to helping others, they left me seeking a role where I could make a broader, more personal impact on people’s lives.

my role at Unlimited Potential

At Unlimited Potential, I worked as a Health Trainer, which was about community support and mentoring. I worked one-to-one with local people, helping them to navigate challenges ranging from mental health and substance abuse to social isolation and employability. Whether it was connecting them with education opportunities, services or local resources, my role focused on supporting people to define and achieve their goals through befriending and coaching. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to see people transform their lives.

what most benefitted me from being with Unlimited Potential and what difference it made to me

Working at Unlimited Potential was transformative for me. The trust and autonomy granted in my role, combined with the organisation’s fundamentally entrepreneurial and forward-thinking values, helped me unlock my own sense of potential. I discovered the confidence to challenge both myself and others to grow and achieve. This experience empowered me to pursue new paths, inspiring a belief that anything is possible and that I could approach life with this same entrepreneurial mindset.

what I have gone on to do/achieve since I left Unlimited Potential

I have since gone on to publish several novels, with my work being shortlisted for awards and published internationally. This success in writing opened doors for a transition into tech, where I built a career in content strategy and design, eventually founding my own company consulting for early-stage tech start-ups.

Alongside this, I also trained as a habit coach and now work with high-performing clients, from writers to chief executives, and have lectured to students and faculty at institutions like the University of Oxford. I will be launching an AI-powered journaling app that blends all that I have learned, designed to help purpose-driven individuals to find clarity and pursue their goals.
