Purpose
To integrate people with mental health problems back into their communities.

Activity
The project was a partnership with START in Salford.
Having benefitted from START’s creative arts interventions at its main site, people were first transferred to a satellite site, as a stepping stone in their recovery.
Unlimited Potential provided each person with a well-being mentor, who offered them one-to-one support to complement the benefits of creative art. This was to further improve confidence, self-esteem and self-efficacy and to connect them to external opportunities, and ultimately to their full potential.

Impact
79.1% of people made a personal action plan, of which 82% were achieved or partly achieved.
There were a range of changes, including improved confidence and self-efficacy, improved networking, attendance at local activities and improved access to community assets.
