What we aim to achieve
Salford Dadz is an action research project that is now in its second year. The idea is to test whether improving the wellbeing of disadvantaged fathers improves the wellbeing of their children.
What we do
The technique used is an asset based and strengths based approach called positive deviance - finding positive outliers on a normal distribution curve. The positive outliers amongst the fathers are the ones willing to swallow male pride and speak up about their problems and share solutions father to father.
